With the band motoring towards their sixth studio album, one of the true flag-bearers for Swedish Death Metal have officially announced that we'll be getting some new music very soon. Watain will be releasing the track Nuclear Alchemy on 31st October with some very exclusive 7inch packages involved.
The 7inch of Nuclear Alchemy will be released in two different editions with 1000 red vinyls available and 1000 black. The single will also include a very special B-side with the band covering Tormentor's Beyond.
With characteristic enthusiasm, the band commented on both the single release and forthcoming new record due on 5th January 2018 - "Nuclear Alchemy" is the sound of an eager beast let loose from its cage at last. A song of violent fire, impending doom and of necks cracking in ecstacy. A dissolving injection of power and force into the coagulated veins of Black Metal and a first glimpse into the abyss that shall be opened in the beginning of 2018. Meanwhile, stand by for conflagration."
Don't forget that Watain will be heading out on tour in Europe in support of the new record to help deliver a monumental ruckus to bring in 2018.
