Rogue States - Lights
Having already been compared to the likes of some of the greats such as U2, Coldplay and Snow Patrol, things look like they are about to skyrocket for Birmingham four piece Rogue States.
With influences of classic pop and life experiences playing on their music, with their single ‘Lights’ they are aiming high. The song opens with an instant explosion of sound and through the incredible vocals of Michael Clarke the ambiance of the tune takes an epic turn. The duel vocal harmonies that were there at the start of the song and return in full force, building dramatically in the last segment also encourage this. After some crashing drums, racing guitars and deep momentous vocals, the song explodes and concludes leaving a prominent mark on you.
It will take a lot of hard work, dedication, ambition and ingenuity to get Rouge States to the same level as those they are being compared with. But by the sounds of it, these guys have what it takes.
