Fuzzy Shoegaze

Bringing to mind Dinosaur Jr., Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine et al, this is a rush of 90s sounding fuzzy shoegaze from T.M.T. on their debut 6 track EP. Opener 'Acid Blues' is a thrilling feedback soaked tune with off kilter riffs and a great melody. 'Exploding Eyes' has sweet melodic girl/boy vocals drenched in intense and loud distortion from the guitars. A gentle acoustic interlude breaks up the ear bashing on 'Every Time (Oxygen)' showcasing a lovely melody without the overlying noise. 'Mad Mary' has shades of Grandaddy at the start with those carefree vocal tones making a comeback and a gentle, poppy tune which becomes intense and noisy half way through. 'Son Of J' is upbeat and bouncy and very Sonic Youth and closer 'A Thousand Years Of Deconstruction", the longest track builds from soft to loud and layered in effortless waves.

The sound on "A Thousand Years Of Deconstruction" is timeless in a way; poppy, melodic and full of walls of noise, however it also takes you back to the heady days of 90s shoegaze and that's not a bad place to be.
