Vera Grace - Rotations

Within a year of forming, Vera Grace had released their debut single Living Forever Isn't Living At All. Now the Oxfordshire quintet release their debut EP Rotations.

Wasting Away is a great starting point, Steve's vocals are passionate and strong, the drumming is solid and the riffs are melodic. Next up is Lost while still being heavy, it is home to some pop-punk tendencies, it's a great track and the mix of hardcore, metal and punk works really well together. I have a feeling Lost will bring a lot of attention to the band.

Closing track I Am The Earth is a great number, and is bound to be a crowd pleaser when performed live. It's punchy, energetic, and entertaining. It's in the same vein as the rest of Rotations but also houses some gang vocals and guttural screams.

Rotations is full of promise and potential, while not groundbreaking Vera Grace have the makings of something big. A solid debut release.
