Icy Bouncy Disco Pop.

Aluminium Babe's 'Everything 2 Me' is a stab of icy dance-pop, not heard of since Bis gracefully retired to become the harder-edged Data Panik.

The original is a standard bouncy disco track with quiet, cooing vocals and the sense of 'do you think you are hip enough to be listening to this?' It's a decent track but it's more likely to find its home in the middle of a mix set as opposed to being remembered as a stand-alone track.

However the real quality lies in the DJ Downfall remix of the lead song. In this version, the bass end is cranked up to the heavens with the 1980's esque keyboard fills pinging in between very nicely. Do not be surprised to see some head nodding and air punching before this track is over. As it is a dance remix, it features the obligatory key change and mid-song slow section but thankfully this doesn't last for too long before the song takes off again.

'Everything 2 Me' is certainly disco-pop by numbers but it all adds up to a favourable result.
