Slipknot have announced a full UK/IRL tour in support of their soon to be released fifth album, 5; The Gray Chapter. This will be the first full tour they've done for several years so tickets are sure to go quickly. And in further news which will no doubt please the old Nu-Metal crowd very much, Korn have been announced as the main support.
Commenting on the tour, front man Corey Taylor had the following to say: "The UK has always been very special for us. In a lot of ways, it's where this insanity began. So, for this tour, we decided to try and hit as many places as we could - not only England, but Scotland and Wales as well. Technically Ireland is Europe, but we're going there too. We're coming back for the people who started this for us: that would be YOU. Prepare yourselves... Hell is coming."
Tickets go on sale this FRIDAY.
