Following the announcement of Ozzy Osbourne on Monday morning, organisers have now revealed that the second headliner for Download Festival 2018 are AVENGED SEVENFOLD. The band will headline the Friday night.

The band last graced the hallowed turf of Donington in 2014 where they smashed their first ever headline show. Following their addition, the band commented "We are more than honoured to be a part of this legendary show and line up. Being asked to headline Download for the second time is a career highlight. We would like to thank our UK A7X family!"

So Ozzy and Avenged - a distinct bat theme starting to unfurl at Download HQ!
