In the run up to Mastodon's new album "The Hunter" to be released on September 26th the band releases the first single taken from it, entitled 'Curl Of The Burl', the single is available from today through digital retailers.
Mastodon have launched a contest at their website. There, you can download the track, add your own lead guitar or drums, and upload it back to the site. The band will pick their favourite entry based on originality and skill in a few weeks time.
The first prize winner will get a brand new MacBook Air Notebook, a personal message from the band, and more.
The band will also be chosing one loser who will receive an empty bag of crisps. Probably Monster Munch.
