2014 is theirs if they want it
American Metalcore band Miss May I formed back in 2006 at a time where band's like them were a dime a dozen and disappearing rapidly into a scene which became vastly overcrowded. With that said it is testament to the talents contained within this band that they were able to fight on and make a real name for themselves, and to be on a tour with the lords of this genre and playing venues like Brixton is a phenomenal next step for Miss May I.
They grabbed the opportunity by the balls as well, as the crowds from outside started to filter in, pissed and moody about the mammoth queues, Miss May I threw themselves into Relentless Chaos and the stage was set. One of the clearest stand out's from the set was the performance of the band's drummer Jerod Boyd who lucked out a bit with the Brixton mix and sounded absolutely thunderous. Frontman Levi Benton was strong, and did well to get the crowd involved and ultimately pumped for the main event later on. They were clearly just absolutely chuffed to be playing at Brixton Academy, even more so after the reaction to a new track. The new track they unleashed sounded absolutely massive as well making it very clear that 2014 could be a very big year indeed for Miss May I.
