Patent Pending at Brooklyn Bowl

Patent Pending made a welcome return to the UK as part of Zebrahead’s Walk The Plank tour, and we were lucky enough to catch the action at London’s Brooklyn Bowl.

Patent Pending were once again, incredibly lively on stage, they barely stand still for a second and their infectious energy instantly spread to the crowd, as there was not a still body in the house during Patent Pending’s set. The New York based rockers involve the crowd in their set at every given opportunity, including the Crowd Swimming Championship; which has become an eagerly awaited part of their set, even if frontman Joe Ragosta does seem to beat guitarist Rob Felicetti back to the stage every single time.

Patent Pending put on a great and entertaining set, despite Ragosta experiencing a couple of problems with his microphone. Highlights of their set include Douchebag, Hey Mario and Psycho In Love.

Having witnessed the power of Patent Pending on their first trip to the UK, Room Thirteen have watched this band grow. They were always confident performers but they now act like true professionals, the last two times we have seen them, there has been some level of technical difficulties and Patent Pending have taken them in their strides. As well as a growth in confidence, the band has also experienced a growth in loyal follows.

We heard a rumour that Patent Pending will be back in the UK in April; if you’ve yet to check them out, make sure you do in the spring, these guys are a hoot!
