High On Fire are riding a wave of momentum right now and have just unveiled the release date for the very highly anticipated new album Luminiferous. The album will be released on 23rd June via eOne Music. The album was produced by Kurt Ballou who you may also recognise as the guitarist from Converge. Commenting on the release Kurt stated the following: "Having been a fan of theirs since The Art of Self Defense, the opportunity to collaborate with one of my favorite bands has truly been an honor."
This will be the band's seventh studio release of which Matt Pike had the following to say: "We’re doing our part to expose The Elite and the fingers they have in religion, media, governments and financial world downfall and their relationship to all of our extraterrestrial connections in the race to control this world... Wake up, it’s happening. All while we stare at a socially engineered lie we think of as normalcy. Unless we wake from the dream, there will come true doom.
