Lamb Of God have been busy in the studio the last couple of months, and with the little teasers and pictures beginning to ramp up online, the band have finally confirmed the release date for what is set to be their seventh studio album. VII: STURM UND DRANG will be released in July 2015 via Nuclear Blast Entertainment.

Lamb Of God are just the latest to join the already vastly impressive Nuclear Blast roster. Commenting on the new deal, NB's owner and founder Markus Staiger has the following to say: "What an honour to work with Lamb Of God. I’ve always been a big fan of their music and we now get to work with them on their new crushing album!"

Drummer Chris Adler also commented:"Finally joining forces with Nuclear Blast outside of North America is something Lamb of God is excited to see happen. We first met back in 1997 - almost signed then, but have been flirting ever since! It's now time for a new chapter for us in connecting with our friends and fans overseas, which is long overdue! See you all very soon - with a nasty new album!"

Now if this news has got you all worked up and excited, the band have also released a stream of a new track titled Still Echoes to help tide you over until July. The track is available on lambofgodvii.com. Commenting on the track and new album, Randy Blythe stated, "The time has come to give the fans their first taste of the new Lamb of God album. This is a very, very dark, yet sonically highly varied, record. As it's always good to come out of the gate hard with a fast and aggressive one; we chose this track ‘Still Echoes’ to kick it off. Enjoy/destroy."
