With the festival announcement train well and truly running for 2019, Supersonic Festival have slammed their way in to the conversation by announcing the absolutely legendary Neurosis as their headliners for next year's event. Taking place across 19th-21st July in Birmingham, Supersonic Festival will be celebrating their 15th anniversary - a 15 year history brimming with some of the most diverse line-ups in the UK festival scene.

Commenting on the announcement, Neurosis' Steve Von Till stated, "Its been a long time coming, but finally Neurosis is teaming up with the folks at Supersonic for a special event in Birmingham, a holy land for heavy music. We have known Supersonic to be kindred spirits since we first met years ago to discuss our mutual commitment to supporting independent, emotionally intense artists. Their lineup over the years has mirrored our own appreciation for eclectic sound with a depth of spirit and passion, creating a platform for some of the most interesting and inspired artists around. This is not to be missed."

There are a limited amount of weekend tickets currently on sale NOW. The festival will be announcing more acts in the new year. Supersonic Festival 2019 shall also run in parallel with a major Home Of Metal exhibit celebrating the forefathers of Metal, Black Sabbath.
