Mongolian Heavy Rock beasts The Hu are gearing towards the release of their debut record The Gereg and with that comes the unveiling of a third new track The Great Chinggis Khaan which you can listen to below.
If you're unfamiliar with The Hu, this is a band who have combined traditional Mongolian instrumentation with brutal throat vocals to very popular results. The band have ended up going viral more than once online and have begun to build a strong cult following. Their rising popularity has actually ended up in them being heralded as Cultural Envoy Of Mongolia by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia. Commenting on this particular commendation, Jaya from the band stated, "It is a great moment for us. We are very happy. We understand that as an envoy, we are responsible for sharing our cultural heritage with the world."
