Right, now time for the not so factual bit, or not so yet anyway.
Reading and Leeds line-up is announced this Monday and a quick look round the Net gives you a million and one different rumours, some of which look likely and some seem extremely unlikely.
The most popular thinking for the headliners is Razorlight, Red Hot Chili Peppers and the reformed Smashing Pumpkins. The Chilis are in Glasgow the day before, Razorlight are absent from many major line-ups so far and the Pumpkins rumour just refuses to go away.
Arcade Fire and Bloc Party have both dropped pretty strong hints over the past few weeks that they will be appearing, and the rescheduling of a Nine Inch Nails gig for the week immediately after the festival, plus their support slot with the Foo Fighters the week before, certainly gives that story some legs.
As for the rest of the bill, this list is simply a load of bands who've appeared in a number of rumours we've heard: +44, Ash, Biffy Clyro, Billy Tallent, Cooper Temple Clause, Idlewild, Funeral For A Friend, The Gossip, Interpol, Jesus and Mary Chain, Klaxons, The Twang and The View.
The announcement happens at around 6.45 PM this Monday. It's possible that this list of bands will play the festival but won't be announced in the first list.
Tickets go on sale at 7 PM this Monday.
