So the moment many of you have been waiting for, Radio 1 reveals the first part of the line-up is out for the Reading and Leeds Festivals.

As expected Razorlight and Red Hot Chili Peppers are headlining the main stage, Klaxons and The View are to play the Radio 1/NME Stage.

More acts will be announced after 7 PM.

Tickets go on sale at 7 PM, as ever it's gonna be a mighty scrum: good luck!

The Friday line-up at Reading plays Saturday at Leeds, The Saturday at Reading moves to Leeds for Sunday with the Reading closing bill opening Leeds on the Friday.

The dates for this year's Carling Weekend is Friday August 24 to Sunday August 26.
