The Rolling Stones are set to headline this year's Isle of Wight Festival.
BBC 6Music is reporting that Music industry magazine Music Week says the announcement will come later this week.
This is a rumour which has been doing the rounds for a few weeks. This appearance by the Stones will be their first UK festival show in nearly thirty years.
They are to close the event on Sunday June 10, and will join a line-up which includes Keane, The Fratellis, James Morrison and Paolo Nutini.
The other headliners are Snow Patrol and Muse, and other bands playing the sold out festival include Ash, The Feeling, Kasabian and Wolfmother.
