Maximo Park celebrate the release of their new album, 'Our Earthly Pleasures' (released April 2) with a very special performance on the roof of The Baltic Centre for Contemporary Arts, situated on the banks of the Tyne in the bands home city of Newcastle.
The show takes place on Wednesday March 28.
A tiny allocation of tickets will be available to the public from RPM record shop, 25 Highbridge, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 1EW. The wristbands go onsale at 10am on Tuesday March 27 and are restricted to one per person and are priced at £5.00 (plus booking fee of 50p).
The bands new single 'Our Velocity' is released this week through Warp Records. They have also been invited to cut the red tape and sign copies of their new single at
the opening of a new HMV store in Liverpool this Thursday (March 22) at 4.30pm.
The band will also play a midnight instore performance on Sunday April 1 at HMV
Newcastle, 56 Northumberland Street. Entry is via wristband only, these can be obtained at the store.
Maximo Park are one of the bands to be announced as playing this year's Carling Weekend.
