I'm not sure whether there have ever been so many different remixes of one song before. This one has nine and none of them are very appealing. The radio edit is probably the most easy to listen to for someone who takes no pleasure what so ever in listening to music with a dance beat.
‘Watch the Sun Come Up’ has a bright atmosphere with a flowing repetitive melody that shines and makes you warm inside, like a summer romance. There is an underpinning of a slight dance beat. Lyrically the song is very well written, taking a slice of the summer sunshine and turning it into a song. Vocally the verses consist of raps, with the choruses becoming more spoken words, with the two becoming intertwined as the song wines down.
As for the further eight versions of this song, they will likely be hitting the clubs in the next few months.
