Catchy Indie-Pop
Very British sounding indie-pop (with a pop-punk edge at times); fast paced and energetic, ‘I Feel The Need’ is catchy and bouncy with a great sing along feel and solid musicianship. Decent three minute pop songs are quite hard to do well but, Cambridge four piece, Violet Bones seem to have got the hang of things pretty well on this track. Lyrically it’s quite down to earth but it is an upbeat tune and gets you moving very successfully. For a debut single this seems really well produced and has all the enthusiasm you would expect from a new band.
Violet Bones have the sound and energy to go far, let’s hope they get the chance to shine.
