Scottish Fight Club.

“Fight Club” is a blinding single from Scottish band The Trade. Right from the start, the song has the kind of rock and roll swagger that you would expect to hear from a veteran band doing this kind of thing for years, not from a young band from a small town in Scotland. You can easily tell why the band has established itself so well already in the Scottish music scene. From the opening guitar riff to the thumping chorus, this song oozes talent. The singer sounds like he drinks a lot of whiskey and smokes about forty a day which in this genre of music is absolutely necessary. The guitars complement each other throughout the song, and the bass line pounds along to the heavy beat of the drums. The chorus is memorable, even the verses are sing-along worthy and any interlude throughout the song gives the listener a break to catch their breath.

This song is exceptional, the band is extraordinary, and I can only hope that the rest of this harsh industry can see their undeniable talent.
