the Right Set

According to my Concise Collins Dictionary - New Edition, the definition of the word Subset is "A mathematical set contained within a larger set". This begs the questions, what set has this London quartet come from? And were they any good at maths at school? Well on the evidence of ‘Ambrosia’ it must be a good set but sadly the latter question will have to remain a mystery, for now.

‘Ambrosia’ sees Subset produce a no holds barred, cut back to its bones, no nonsense, indie rock track full with harmonic vocals from front man Romain. The verses see the music verge to the complicated side with the chorus more simplistic, yet highly absorbing throughout, before launching into a high energy finish. This must be the type of Ambrosia that the Greeks gods were feasting on.

With lots of dates already set for July and August, on this evidence Subset could yet be a whole new set of their own.
