opration review

If someone stated that a band I was in was 'Oasis for the Myspace generation' I would take it as a serious slur against my character and proceed to knock ten bells out of them.
Maybe the Gallagher's have had an indirect influence on me after all.

That's exactly what The Operation have been hailed as. But it is hard to see where those comparisons come into play as these English chaps have carved out a sound for themselves.

Come Clean is taken off the band's second album 'Human Zoo, and is an excellent piece of Brit rock.
And its not Brit Rock just where the singer just goes Shiinnnnnnnne!

The highlight of the song is a bass rumbling chorus and is delivered with the straight up power that sometimes only a trio can manage. Some Great guitar work from axeman and vocalist, Alex Veale, and super tight drumming from Oliver Court help the band stand head and shoulders above the Oasis and Kasabian Wannabees.

Be sure to keep to keep an eye out for this band as they have already made inroads in being exposed in the USA and have had numerous offers to play festivals over the Summer in Europe.

The Operation cut through many other British bands with a scalpel and leave them to bleed, not with blood, but mediocrity.
