Chunky British rock
Not sure if you can technically call this an EP with two tracks, however, the tracks are cracking so we'll let them off this time. The EP is heavy alt-rock with metal riffage, think Hundred Reasons or Far as a comparison. Both tracks have really solid melodies; 'The Commissioner' is memorable and well paced with chunky guitars and a dreamy, open feel. 'Just Run Away' starts with lovely echoey guitar and vocals, it really soars and makes your skin prickle and when it opens out and the heavy guitars and drums come in its one of those moments when you can imagine the crowd at a gig jumping up as one; this lot have an ear for a great tune and know how to hook you from the off.
