"Singles" is the new, high energy EP from blues rockers Lavellion.
With a balls-to-the-wall mentality from start to finish, the bad attitude and powerful instrumentals make it clear that you wouldn't want to cross Lavellion on a bad day! The smooth, soulful vocals of Luke Lavelle provide a contrast to the dirty, jagged backing instrumentals, an effect that I found utterly endearing.
Not unlike Midlands blues act Voodoo Johnson, Lavellion have successfully embraced the spirit of the blues but given it a raw, modern twist that is so addictive! Three tracks just weren't enough for me; I can't wait to hear more! The guys are currently touring the UK to promote their wares so hopefully I won't have too long to wait!
