Hard-Fi - Tied Up Too High
This single brings some fresh pop-rocky sound direct into your ears.
Straight after the first notes you are caught in their world: classical backings, nice guitar riffs and a great voice. Just when you were thinking that there could not be another original and good band on the pop/rock scene, Hard-Fi with "Tied up Too Tight" reassures you! The song has a pure English pop style but it does merge in the mass, it really is original and stands out from other new acts you see in the charts. Let's hope that those guys will be at the top as well!
The second track could be pictured as a traditional rock tune coming straight from the 70's or the 80's, making the whole song a lively tune, making you wanna dance or just shake your body in your room!
Also on the single a cover version of The White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army". An excellent version with a Reggae sound.
The single makes you want to know more about this band as with only three tunes they are able to bring you into various worlds: pop, rock, reggae. Their sound is lively and original; Hard-Fi is definitely a band to watch out!
