Shoegaze Dreaminess
Following hot on the heels of their recent free flexi disk giveaway with Artrocker Magazine, London four piece, Hold Kiss Kill, have released "I'm In Love With A Girl" as a treat to their fans, in the form of a free download available only from the band's website. The cover of Big Star's track is available from the bands website.
While the track does capture the Sonic Youth meets A Place To Bury Strangers feel their live shows bring out, it does not do Hold Kiss Kill full justice. "I'm In Love With A Girl" is a track that at two minutes long oozes with feeling and shoegaze dreaminess, but does not really demonstrate the full capacity that this equally mixed boy/girl band really can deliver; as an introduction to new fans however it does goes a long way.
We think Hold Kiss Kill is a band to keep your eyes on and expect great things in the very near future. Watch this space.
