Oh No Fiasco release self-titled masterpiece

Knoxville is the third largest city in the US state of Tennessee and the home to new band on the scene Oh No Fiasco.

Blending together their own style of alternative rock with a pop/dance feel, female fronted Oh No Fiasco look set to take the world by storm. This self-titled seven-track release is full of upbeat tracks perfect for the dance floor. The type of songs that explode with passion, attitude and a female spark that only a few vocalists have been able to confidently achieve.

'Stand in Lover' is the opener and a song to get the hairs on your arms standing on end and that inner rocker inside everyone wanting to yell at the top of its lungs; 'Fly Me To The Moon' receive a similar, if not more frantic and excitable reaction. Even the mellower yet pulsating 'I Have To Know' is a strong demonstration that the quintet is capable of creating softer songs to accompany the more adventurous ones.

You get some female vocalists that tend to scream the lyrics of a song rather than singing them, believing this to give them the rock edge they need. However, Linsdey Stamey is nothing of the sort. She has a powerful and passionate voice, just like Hayley Williams. No matter the type of track, softer or up-tempo, she is capable of belting it out perfectly.

This self-titled release is perfect for the upcoming summer (or what we have left of it) – stereo blasting, windows open and sing along at the top of your lungs! With the lyrics being so catchy this is possible after just a few listens. Although there are no plans to head over to UK as of yet, who knows what the near future may bring. If you cross your fingers hard enough you never know, wishes do come true. One question though...why only seven tracks?!
