Pop-rock
A hit of pop-rock from Die Pretty on this three track EP "Battle Over Brooklyn"; their tunes are melodic, anthemic and quite catchy but very familiar and pretty generic fare. That said, this is an easy to rock out to EP with solid rhythms and some quite nice straightforward and uncomplicated riffs, they do fall down slightly on the vocals though which are seriously squeaky and can really grate after a couple of minutes, '7th Avenue', a more laid back tune is the best track vocally. If you can get past this hiccup And pop-rock is your cup of tea you may find the EP creeps up on you and manages to stick in your head, especially 'Let Me Out' which is the most memorable track and gets your head bobbing straight away.
