Hungry Ghosts has massive hit on their hands!
Hailing from York, musical quartet Hungry Ghosts blend together elements of indie, rock, pop as well as a little punk, to create a big sound, especially with these three tracks, including the new single 'By The Bridge'.
This one is alive with power, bursting with energy and has wonderful melodies running through it like blood runs through veins. The guitar solo in particular is electric to a point it could make your ears bleed it is so sharp. Alongside this single are two further tracks. The first is 'Cinema Boy', a track that although electric, can be quite dark and mysterious at times as the vocalist sings, "cinema boy lost in the silver screen". The second, 'Nightlight' is a fairly upbeat song with backing harmonies "woo"ing and a slightly electro feel at times.
These guys have a big sound and create an atmosphere you can practically visualise on the stage; lights flashing from red to green, guitars becoming electric, drums crashing and these guys jumping around like they have ants in their pants. If this energetic single is anything to go by, imagine a live performance...bring it on!
