The Stowaways- Time For Change

Deja vu is a peculiar thing. That glitch in the Matrix can make you question yourself, your brain and your very ability to think. It was a similar sensation we experienced when listening to The Stowaways latest single, Time For Change. Well, sort of.

As we sunk into the crashing, atmospheric joy created by the London quartet's combination of guitar and synth, we couldn't believe that we hadn't heard this track before. It's sublime. .. and quite frankly, this stylishly cool slice of indie pop perfection should have been heard by the mainstream already. Settling somewhere between Friendly Fires and Foals in their enveloping nest of ooh-oohing and infectious rhythm, they also adapt touches of indie vocal melody to tailor to their own striking brand. Why don't we all know about this lot yet?

It surely must be time for The Stowaways to get their break. With songwriting of this quality, it can only be a matter of time until they claim their cover space in NME.
