Standing Tall - Still Breathing
Norwich based rockers Standing Tall are set to release their new EP Still Breathing.
Still Breathing kicks off with Bare Shots; a punchy but long number. Frontman Blake's vocal style has a raw feel to it, it seems to be cracking in points but that adds to the spirit of the song.
Feeling Alone Tonight follows and picks up where the previous track left off and soon introduces a strong guitar groove. Standing Tall exude musical talent and a special mention should be given to guitarists Holen and Josh, who prove they know their way around an axe!
Still Breathing is a well performed and produced EP that has a Deaf Havana feel to it. There are enough changes in dynamics and tempo to keep it interesting, but there are points when it all feels a bit samey.
