Nightlife - For The Record

Having only been together for 18 months, Nightlife are showing some impressive work ethics by releasing their second EP; For The Record.

Nightlife have already toured Europe and secured a spot on Warped Tour in the US, this does not come as a surprise when you hear how professional and accomplished they sound on For The Record.

Opening track; Where I Ought To Be sets the mood for the rest of the EP, it is catchy, likeable and has enough attitude to keep you interested. Good Intentions comes next and shows the musical talent that Nightlife have, they guitar work is extremely impressive.

Highlights of the record come back to back in the form of Wisdom Teeth and Remedy. They are extremely catchy and likeable; you'll soon find yourself singing along with the both of them and the hooks of these songs will be lodged in your brain for hours after listening.

For The Record is an impressive second offering, it is no mean feat to release two EPs within 18 months of forming a band, but it would be nice to see what the band could produce if they put the time and effort into releasing a full album - the talent is there, Nightlife just need to work on developing that talent into a product that gives them their big break.
