Camp Actor - This is Not New-York
Now this single is a good surprise. Even if you are not into electro/trance music you can't help yourself thinking that there is something special about Camp Actor and their single 'This is not New-York' (out 30th May).
It starts as a dream/trance track and suddenly the music kicks out with excellent vocals. Of course, don't expect to find clever lyrics that are made to change people's view on the world as we are speaking of trance music. But it is pleasant and good to chill out or to listen to before starting a crazy night out. If you remember the sound of 'Underworld' then you will certainly find some similarities with this one.
Unfortunately the other track ('Antifashion') is not as good as the first one. It sounds like the band is trying and testing something but it does not work out and you soon become annoyed and just want to throw the CD out to the bin.
So let's just forget about this one and stick to the single to be in the mood for a good party!
