Story One EP

'Disposable' starts off well, a nice bit of acoustic guitar, it carries on like that. It's a lament, not quite as miserable as Coldplay, but similar, the violin lifts it out of its own misery. The fact that it seems really short (3:01) also puts it in a different camp. Refreshing after so many overlong epics that seem to go on seemingly for ages.

'Coming Up' takes a while to get started. You know at any moment it'll burst forth into a crescendo of fiery guitars. The anticipation is better than the reality, just lacks a bit of undefinable something

'Delhi Funeral', for me, is the chocolate digestive in this family assortment. Starting with distinctly Eastern violin moving on to a doom laden thumping drum and morbid Indie-ness. All tracks suit the Roger Chapman-esque vocals of Tom Evan's vocals down to the ground: never a happy chappy. This and the afore mentioned violin lift it from the quagmire of indifference.
