Not The Pop-Rock You'd Expect

The lead singer is called Grog (Georgina Prebbie). She's played bass for Mel C, Kelly Osbourne and appeared on Top Of The Pops. Now if that's not enough to make you think kiddystuff-nu metal-poppy rock-yawnsville, I don't know what is. I thought that until I heard it. What a surprise. I was, quite frankly, stunned.
This is bloody brilliant. Metal yes, rock, most definitely. Intelligent, metal influenced rock, you might call it.

Grog is a gorgeous Amazonian with a voice so powerful; she'd give any big fat hairy 'vocalist' a run for his money. She sounds at times like Toyah's bigger, nastier sister. You really don't want to mess with her.
They have a distinctive sound, very British, sounding like classic metal of the eighties with the odd bit of Hawkwind sneaking in.
The single is taken from the bands debut album and been playing to (unsurprisingly) very appreciative crowds everywhere. I wait in anticipation for the album to find it's way into my sweaty little paws.
