Ladies and Gentlemen of the United Kingdom, may I introduce from the suburbs of Las Vegas, the first true child of Myspace. Oh yes, we have seen the rest now worship with the best! A quick look at their Myspace page tells you that they have over 223,916 "friends" and that is growing all the time. Having moved from Grandma's house to a recording studio we are reaping the benefits.
The fantastically written 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies' is testament to the fact that some of the best music is coming from the freshest bands around. Having not followed the usual thing of release single and then an album tour and build your audience, this lot have done it the other way round and fair play to them.
This is a band that are not afraid to experiment with their sound and it has worked in their favour with 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies'. Their debut is a typical indie rock sound, with an edge to it. There is something there that I can't quite explain or put my finger on, but who cares the music rocks!
