Youthful exuberance simply overfills from Be Your Own Pet's music, a frenetic assault buzzes through your cranium within seconds of switching on 'Let's Get Sandy'; mind you the track itself only lasts 59 seconds. This is 59 seconds in which the band manages to introduce raging guitars, some star percussion and the squealy punk rock vocals of Jemima Pearl, which are certain to make the band the catchy young punk-pop wannabes of the year. Ballsy and instantly infectious, 'Let's Get Sandy' is like a shot of party power into your weary ears.
B-side 'Early Sandy' can't be said to be as endearing as it comprises of some curious lazy rap and a tip tapping Bronx beat followed by the rather disturbing vocals, "I've Got A Big One."
