Warm and Chilled, if it's possible to be both?

'You Are What You Love' is the latest single to be lifted from the solo album by Rilo Kiley singer Jenny Lewis.

On CD this track is a sleepy, dreamy, calming song, however the rhythmic under current of soft but pacey drumming means that when transferred into the live environment this could become far more bouncy and up lifting.

The great appeal of Lewis' vocals is that there is nothing extravagant about them, her's is an intimate style of singing which gives the impression that she is performing just for you. Put that on top of musical production which is very easy on the ear, and it creates a track which has both a warm summer feel, and a soothing quality such as you might want to wake up to with a hang over on a Sunday morning.

This song has a real mainstream pop edge to it, but could also fit in well to a country music fan's record collection. In this way there is a similar feel to this as the work of KT Tunstall.

This single does what all good singles should, which is motivate the listener into checking out her album with the Watson Twins 'Rabbit Fir Coat'.
