Lethal Sleazy Rock

Sleazy and grimy, you'd usually run from a band as down and devilish as Lovemat but 'Jack's Dream' hooks you in like a fly enticed into the sprawling spider's web of raucous guitars, catchy hooks and leering vocals. Raw and savage the guitars are bullish while the vocals hit you with a punk swagger and knock you for six; then there's the ferocious guitar solo and ensuing raging run of percussion which end this riotous rock delight.

'The Battle of Falcon Hill' has brawling guitars through which the whispered menacing vocals burst sporadically, full of roguish cheek and manic abandon. Lovemat are onto something with these direct tunes which drill their way into our head, they follow the same brazen lines as Towers of London but are far more musically astute and catchy, so watch out!
