There's nothing automatic about this classy tune

Given how popular the Automatic are with the rock crowd, supporting the likes of Hard-Fi, The Ordinary Boys, and Goldie Looking Chain could seem like an odd thing. Then again, the hefty dance beat and monster chorus (pun fully intended) should ensnare any stray listeners. It shouldn't come as a surprise, then, that they've been shortlisted for seven Kerrang! Awards categories.

After the eighties' art-punk of 'Raoul' and 'Recover', this song seems to be more straight up punk rock in comparison, complete with group choruses and shouty vocals. The background shouting may divide opinion but it adds colour. It's bound to be a live favourite in years to come, and will inspire many teenagers to mosh like crazy; on the flipside, whether they'll retain their current popularity is debatable with opinions divided right down the middle. For the time being, this is a classic tune.
