Agnostic Front - Another Voice
Agnostic Front have been stalwarts in the New York hardcore scene and gained recognition by releasing the hardcore classic Victim In Pain in 1984. In thiese turbulent political times hardcore music could not seem more relevant, Agnostic Front have gained a following from modern acts as this record clearly shows from the guest appearances from Karl Buechener (formerly Earth Crisis, now Freya), Scott Vogel (Terror) and Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed). Jasta also lends his production skills to the NYHC legends' latest instalment.
After twenty years Agnostic Front are still venomous as they were back in the day. Standout track 'Peace' is a crushing blast featuring Jamey Jasta's raw vocals. The partnership between Roger Miret (vocals) and Vinny Stigma (guitar) has produced some crushing hardcore anthems complete with shout-alongs and skull crushing riffs. This is a quintessential hardcore punk record from the masters of the genre.
