A floor filler with soul

Allow me to introduce you to a track which, to my knowledge, isn't getting the exposure it deserves. Certainly I'm not hearing it on high rotation on any radio station I might tune into, and frankly I don't understand why. I mean there's even the words 'Radio Edit' written on the promo CD so they can't be accused of not making the effort.

This single from Bugz in the Attic could have that warm feeling of familiarity running through any fan of Basement Jaxx. The intro has the feel of the score to a Batman style film, giving way to a funky disco track with a constant dirty baseline which, if played loud will constantly eat away at you.

This song is rich in harmonies, and it's soulful vocals at times have a gospel sound meaning that this should be much more than just a club tune. The tune of this by the way was stuck in my head before the first listen was completed.

So it seems if I can't have radio playing this to the point of boredom, looks like I'll just have to take matters into my own hands: excuse me one moment while I press the skip back button once more.
