Girl fronted emo.

There is something really infectious about the sing along poppy chorus on Paramore's new single 'Pressure', it has a fast-paced, energetic bounce and some really catchy hooks that demand you get up move along with it.

The only problem with the band in general really, is that they aren't doing a thing that's original. It's all been done a thousand times before, and even though they pump out a decent tune, they just sound like any other emo band, with the usual emotional and angst ridden lyrics. The only difference between them and so many others is that they have a girl singing. 17 year old Hayley Williams does do a good job with the vocals, carrying the band with confidence even if she does sound a bit too much like Avril Lavigne, but it's hard to see what they will have to offer once the initial over-hyped novelty wears off.
