Get the radio on.

He may have the hair and looks of Paulo Nuttini but thankfully for the rest of us, 'Radio' by Liam Scott-Smith has a lot more going for it than the gurning of that young Paisley fish fryer.

It's a simple yet melodic strum-along, more in the vein of Adam Green or recalling Stephen Malkmus with the languid delivery style really catching that 90s American feel. The backing track soars and swoops about with a violin nestling beside the guitar thrum and playing neatly underneath the vocals.

With the current trend for singer songwriters it would be no great surprise to hear 'Radio' popping up on the radio but its also kicking about on the internet and its well worth a listen.
