Debut from songstress.

The debut from Andrea Wilde has a buzzing electro intro slightly spoiled by the unremarkable vocals. Slipping easily alongside Goldfrapp and other pop minstrels, 'I'm In Love' clocks in at less than three minutes yet still manages to get very repetitive.

With banal lyrics and an all too familiar sound there is little to recommend on offer here. Ms Wilde sounds desperate for approval, but in the words of countless school teachers throughout the land, "you can't expect results without putting the work in". Just because you've grown up listening to a few Blondie records doesn't mean you'll leave a mark on music I'm afraid.

An interesting take on the press release (it comes in the form of a page from a diary, the date, of course being the release date for the single) aside I've seen all of these moves before and they already had me yawning.
