Here we go with another brain-bashing helping of Welsh wizardry- “Wake Up” is here. This really is an alert for anyone who hasn’t heard this band. Ian Watkins’ vocals- a cross between a dive bomber and a stretch limo; slam you against the wall with the chorus, before purring the words into your ear. This tremendous sound is accompanied by music that has both melody and muscle. The brilliant keyboard work here alongside the guitars is held together by drums that are so hard and fast it could almost be carpet bombing. So ditch the duvet, wake up and get lost with these prophets.
