Fresh from supporting the likes of James Morrison and Paulo Nutini, Newton Faulkner is now ready to take on the British public with a single called 'I Need Something'.
The track opens to the beautiful sound of an acoustic guitar strumming. It's not long before Faulkner's bluesy voice comes into play over the acoustic back drop. Listening to this it's no surprise that he was invited to join Jim and Paulo on tour because his sound goes hand in hand with theirs.
There's not much about this song that will make you jump to attention, the lyrics are nothing special although they are compiled of proper sentences which is unusual these days, but its beautiful, laid back sound is made for those long summer days at the beach.
This will definitely make up part of the sound track to your summer if you are a bit of beach bum.
