A Slice Of Summer Sunshine

Cheap Like Sebastien, the first single to be released from Apostle Of Hustle's second album is a dreamy, melodic getaway from the trashy indie that dominates 2007. Led by Andrew Whiteman, better known as part of Broken Social Scene, it's no surprise that we are offered a slice of deliciously cool escapism that is the perfect accompaniment to a glass of wine and a hot summer's evening staring at the stars.

Scattered amongst the delicate guitar work are fragmented memories of lazy days spent out in the sunshine that weave between the uncomplicated vocals, giving the song a rounded feel.

Cheap Like Sebastien is the perfect summer single for those who are new to both Apostle of Hustle and Broken Social Scene- and even more enjoyable if you are already familiar with Andrew Whiteman's other work. Don't think of Apostle of Hustle as merely a side project for beneath the relaxed exterior, something far more passionate lurks.
