This is rock n' roll and I like it

This EP serves up some rough and ready indie rock n roll at its dirtiest and best. In the EP's title track, 'Rock n' Roll', raw, visceral beats pack a hefty punch with singer Neal Sawyer's raw, smoky vocals tripping lazily along the surface. The sexy stoner vocals are casually delivered to hypnotic effect in the acoustic second track, 'I walk alone' which dissects all that's wrong with modern living. 'Love around here' goes all rockabilly as delivered by Jim Morrison at his darkest, while 140 Hurts dips into Guile's Jesus and Mary Chain side in another fine acoustic track. Mix two parts of The Doors with one part Johnny Cash, the BRMC and Nirvana and you get some of the influences behind the band, but you need to listen to the tracks to appreciate the haunting darkness of Guile.
